Dr. Ahmed Omran is a distinguished Specialist Orthodontist registered in the UK. He commenced his dental journey at the University of Bristol, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry with Distinction. His exceptional academic and clinical prowess earned him both the Gold Medal and BDA Silver Medal. Further accolades include the 2014 Dentsply Award for Excellence and the 2014 British Society for Restorative Dentistry Award for highest marks in technical skills and the overall best finals case presentation.
Post-graduation, Dr. Omran provided general dental services in the South East of England before undertaking a multifaceted hospital post encompassing restorative, paediatric, oral surgery, and special care dentistry across Surrey and Greater London. Concurrently, he achieved a postgraduate certificate in primary care dentistry with Distinction. His commitment to expanding his surgical expertise led him to a Senior House Officer role in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the South West of England, where he honed skills in managing facial trauma, dentoalveolar surgery, and orthognathic jaw surgery.
Dr. Omran’s pursuit of orthodontic excellence saw him complete his postgraduate training at the esteemed Kingston and Guy’s and St. Thomas Hospitals. He was awarded an MSc in Orthodontics with Distinction from King’s College London and secured his Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) from the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2020. Recognized on the GDC Specialist List in Orthodontics, he also contributes as a committee member of the British Lingual Orthodontic Society (BLOS).

Exclusively practicing in the private sector, Dr. Omran offers a comprehensive array of high-quality orthodontic treatments for both adults and children. His expertise encompasses clear aligner treatments with Invisalign®, clear/ceramic fixed braces, self-ligating DAMON braces, and WiN lingual braces. Furthering his specialization, he completed an International Masters Specialisation in Lingual Orthodontics in Padova, Italy. His dedication and skill were recently recognized when he was honored as Best Young Orthodontist South 2023 at the Clinical Dentistry Awards.
Dr. Omran’s special interests lie in complex orthodontic biomechanics with skeletal anchorage, multidisciplinary orthodontic-restorative cases, and facially driven orthodontic treatments that prioritize optimizing smile aesthetics.
