Work History and Qualifications

Dr. Wiktor Pietraszewski , more affectionately known as Dr Wik, earned a BSc in Human Physiology at the University of Leeds before completing his Dental studies. Following his his undergraduate training, Wik worked in a private practice in Malta for 2 years before moving back to the UK.

With a particular focus on highly aesthetic anterior treatments such as composite bonding and porcelain veneers, Dr. Wik is also very adept at restoring worn or damaged posterior teeth using both composite and ceramic materials. Since graduating Dr. Wik has amassed over seven years of experience in private dentistry, continually expanding his knowledge by attending advanced courses across the UK and Europe. He has trained under some of the world’s most esteemed dental professionals, including Prof. Didier Dietschi and Dr. Maxim Belograd.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Wik is a passionate educator and international lecturer, inspiring dental professionals around the world with his unique and engaging presentation style. His expertise in dental photography not only enhances his clinical work but also serves as a teaching tool, helping other dentists master this critical skill. His contributions to the field have earned him the role of Key Opinion Leader for Kuraray Noritake, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of dental restorative materials. In April 2024, he had the honour of delivering a lecture at their headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.

Dr. Wik is widely recognized for his ability to connect with patients, particularly those with dental anxiety. He offers dental sedation to ensure a comfortable and stress-free experience, always prioritizing the patient’s comfort and needs. His thorough and respectful approach has earned him the trust and admiration of both patients and colleagues, contributing to his growing reputation as one of London’s leading dentists.

In 2024, Dr. Wik’s dedication and skill were recognized when he was awarded Best Young Dentist London at both the Dentistry Awards and the Private Dentistry Awards.

Beyond Dentistry

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wik is a devoted supporter of Fulham Football Club. As a season ticket holder, he rarely misses a home game at Craven Cottage.

In his free time, he enjoys cycling, scuba diving, and traveling to explore new destinations with his wife. He also has a passion for cooking and loves spending time with his cat, Tony, who never fails to keep him entertained.
